Sister to Sister is there

to ensure that you are not alone.

You have a community that respects you, cares for you,
and wants you
to be successful.

Your Support Network

Nobody plans on getting divorced, but sometimes life does not work according to the script. Loneliness experienced by those who are divorced can be painful and can affect a person’s emotional and physical health. Sister to Sister is there to provide you with a community, a national support network of volunteers who care about you and want you to be successful.

Sister to Sister seeks to understand your unique situation and connect you to resources that support your emotional and physical needs. We offer social events that facilitate connection with other divorced women, one-on-one peer support to help guide you along this journey, and educational opportunities that provide tools to help face these challenges.

Support for Mothers

While divorced women without children can be part of Sister to Sister, a special emphasis is made to support women with children under 20 years old. We believe a mother who has a support network can raise happy, healthy and resilient children.

While a mother is an essential person in a child’s life, there are roles that are very hard for a mother to fill, and Sister to Sister works with each women to connect her to resources to help fill any gaps that might exist for her children.
